Frequently asked questions

Gilet, vest or body warmer: is there a difference?

Not really. In the UK and Ireland, gilet and body warmer both mean a sleeveless layer. In the US it is usually called a vest. Høgge is all three: a sleeveless heated layer you wear over a shirt or jumper and under your jacket.

Can I wear it under a work jacket?

Yes, that is where it works best. The heating zones sit close to your body and the jacket on top keeps the warmth in. Put the power bank in an inside pocket so it stays out of the way.

How long does it stay warm?

That depends on the power bank and the level. With 10,000 mAh you get 3–6 hours, with 20,000 mAh 6–12 hours. For long shifts, choose the large one or carry a second power bank.

Heated body warmer or Øney?
