Five things worth knowing
- Start low. All Gløde clothing has three heat levels. Begin on the lowest and turn it up when you stand still.
- Hold the button. Switching on takes a press of about 3 seconds.
- Power bank out before washing. Reconnect only when the garment is completely dry.
- Cold drains batteries. Batteries deliver less in frost. Keep the power bank in an inner pocket.
- The parka uses more. The Pølar has six zones and runs about 1.5–3 hours on 10,000 mAh, or 3–6 hours on 20,000 mAh.
Power for a longer day

Frequently asked questions
Can I take a power bank on a plane?
Usually yes, in your hand luggage only, never in checked baggage. Power banks up to 100 Wh are generally allowed without approval from the airline. Check the Wh rating on your power bank and the rules of your airline before you travel.
Does every heated vest come with a power bank?
The Høgge, Høgge² and Wøley are sold with a power bank, and you choose the small or the large one. The Øney insert runs on a power bank with a 5 V USB output. Both Gløde power banks are also sold separately.
Can I wear heated clothing in the rain?
The Høgge and Høgge² vests are water-repellent, and the Pølar parka is water-repellent and windproof with a rain hood. Water-repellent is not waterproof. In steady rain, wear a waterproof coat over a vest and keep the power bank dry.
What are the warranty and return terms?
You have a 30-day return right and a free size exchange. Every Gløde product has a 2-year warranty. Orders ship from the Netherlands.
