← Advice

In short: With the free Savior Heat app you set the heat level of your heated socks or bodywarmer on your phone, via Bluetooth. This guide covers which products work with it, how to install and connect the app, what you can set and what to do when the connection fails.

Which products work with the app?

  • All adult heated ski socks with app: black/red, black/white, navy print, mountain print, arch support and magnetic charger.
  • The heated socks with app in grey and black. The regular heated socks with a button only have no Bluetooth.
  • The heated bodywarmers with Bluetooth control (6000 mAh battery).
  • The heated ski socks for kids do not work with the app. You control them with the button on the sock.

Install the app

  • iPhone: search the App Store for 'Savior Heat'. The app is free and runs on iOS 13 or later.
  • Android: search Google Play for 'Savior Heat'.
  • The manual that comes with your socks also has a QR code that takes you to the app.
  • The app is available in English, Dutch, German, French and a few other languages.

How to connect your socks

  1. Fully charge the batteries with the cable in the box.
  2. Connect the batteries to the socks.
  3. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
  4. Open the app and allow Bluetooth when your phone asks. On Android the app may also ask for location or 'nearby devices' permission. That is needed to find Bluetooth devices.
  5. Switch on the socks as described in the manual and keep your phone close.
  6. Add the socks in the app. Each sock has its own battery, so make sure both socks are switched on.

What can you set?

  • Ski socks with app: heat level high, medium or low. You feel warmth within about 5 to 10 seconds of switching on.
  • Heated socks with app (grey and black): control both socks together or separately, even with a different level left and right, a timer of up to 3 hours and the battery level. The button on the sock keeps working.
  • Bodywarmers: you control the heat via Bluetooth in the app.
  • The app also works with other Savior Heat products. If you see a function that does not fit your socks, it is meant for another product.

Troubleshooting

The app cannot find my socks

Charge the batteries and check they are firmly connected. Turn Bluetooth off and on, close the app completely and open it again. Then switch the socks off and on and hold your phone right next to them. If a sock is still connected to another phone, close the app on that phone first.

The app only shows one sock

Each sock has its own battery. Check that both batteries are charged and connected and that both socks are switched on. Then search again in the app.

The connection drops

Bluetooth has a limited range. Keep your phone on you, for example in your jacket pocket, and reopen the app to reconnect. With the grey and black socks with app you can always use the button on the sock.

The battery runs out quickly

High uses the most power. The ski socks last approx. 7–8 hours on high and 11–12 hours on low per charge; the grey and black socks approx. 2–3 hours on high and 6–8 hours on low. Fully charge the batteries before use and turn the level down once your feet are warm.
